Our Beliefs

Our beliefs are centered around the foundational truths found in the Bible. These beliefs—these truths—have the power to transform us from the inside out, offering us hope in a broken world.

  • The Bible

The Bible was written by men who were divinely inspired by God. It is true, trustworthy, and without error. It serves as the ultimate source of guidance, shaping our faith and conduct.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

  • One God

The one true God, infinite and holy, exists—Faher, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. They are equal yet have distinct, complementary roles, forming a unity as three persons in one God.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

  • Jesus

Jesus was born a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven. Only through a relationship with Jesus, available to all who believe, are we saved.

God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would have eternal life. (John 3:16)

  • The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is alive and active today and indwells in every believer at the time of salvation. The Holy Spirit provides protection, direction, and spiritual gifts with a life of humble service.

God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them. (Acts 15:8)

  • Sin

Sin separates us from God. Each of us has a sinful nature, yet as we confess our sins to Jesus and commit to following Him, we’ll discover what it’s truly like to be free.

For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

  • Salvation

Salvation is offered freely to all who repent and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Him. Through Salvation, we become a new creation.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • Baptism | Communion

Baptism is an outward expression of our faith, symbolizing our commitment to walk with Jesus. Communion is remembering Jesus's death and resurrection through the bread and cup.

All of you baptized have clothed yourselves with Christ. (Gal. 3:27) “This is my body, given for you. Eat it in my memory." (Luke 22:19)

  • The Church

The church is a body of believers called to share the story of Jesus, worship together, and join in fellowship and community while supporting and encouraging one another.

And let us spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, but encouraging one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

  • The Last Things

Jesus Christ will return to judge the world. The righteous will live eternally with Him in heaven, and the unrighteous will have everlasting punishment in the fiery lake of Hell.

And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life. (Matthew 24:46)
